January 2017 Income/Expenses

January 2017 Income/Expenses

It’s Feb 5th which means we are mega late for this month’s Income/Expenses! January was a very busy month for me, I spent alot of time both matched betting and working on the www.MatchedBettingGuy.com website. While I love matched betting, there’s no doubt that it can be tough work and is entirely active income. Taking some tips from Huw @ FFB40 he advised me to start building up additional passive income streams which would tick over each month without much input. I’m hoping MBG can be a big part of that and so I’ve been working behind the scenes to secure affiliate income sources through that site. It still needs alot of work however I’ve got some great ideas for new content.. I just need to find the time to write it all!

From Matched Betting I made £3,082.19 in January. What started as a very slow month really picked up towards the end as I hit a massive slot win plus cashed out on the 2-up offer for nearly £700 profit. As always, I’ve written a more detailed list of some of the most profitable offers over at the MatchedBettingGuy Blog.

I’ve decided to call it time on my Amazon kindle stream for the time being. Sales on my account have been ticking over for several months now without any input however I’m planning on going into this again properly once Huw releases his kindle publishing course. I’d like a fresh start on this setting it up as a proper business account this time and so have closed my previous personal publishing account. This will be the last payment from Amazon until i start activly working on it again. As a farewell, Amazon paid me £212.48.

I’ve also started building up an affiliate income stream from the Matched Betting guide sites I recommend. I personally use a couple of guide sites and truly believe they are well worth the investment. Affiliate income paid at the end of January was £394.07.

  1. Another fantastic month for income, in particular your matched betting – you’re really killing it!

However, one number jumped out at me – “Eating out: £1197.21”

Wow – champagne and caviar!?? :-)
